To the regular reader of this blog (How many of you? Raise your hands!....oh.), it may appear as if one moment I am complaining heartily about my internship at KLPac, the next moment I am bumming around KLIA, waiting for my flight back to the UK. It is a testament to my indolence regarding this blog, but really (really!)...I have nothing to say. Alright, so those who know me in person might argue otherwise, but lots of what I tend to get gobby about surrounds events in my personal life, which I refuse to broadcast over the web for casual readers. Hence, impersonal and unimportant details such as this:
September 27th 2005
1730: Parents bickering over Father's chronic lateness on a golfing day, hence compromising Daughter's ability to catch flight. Little sister does not care and goes upstairs to watch TV. Dog stares balefully. Leave house.
1800: Arrive at Senai airport, JB. Check in. Eat a Dunkin' Donut. Farewells to parents.
1840: Flight to KLIA. Blogwriter ponders meaning of life and how to waste the 4 hours in KLIA til her next flight to Heathrow. FOUR FRIGGIN' HOURS!!!
1930 - 2310: Starbucks coffee + aimless wandering + lustful gazing at Hermes scarves + spending remains of ringgit + observing the stereotypes that abound in this encapsulation of the world - Japanese looking kooky and taking pictures; Chinese looking like straw-hatted peasants and taking pictures; African-americans wearing baggy pants and heavy gold jewellery; A Latino couple having a heated argument; British drinking beer and watching football; A few fat Americans. It's all true, I tell you!
My schedule shall then continue as follows:
2340: Flight to London.
0550 (28th Sept): Touch down. Wait for ages in airplane. Wait for ages in passport line. Wait for ages for luggage claim.
0810: Catch National Express coach to Coventry.
1000: Arrive at Pool Meadow Bus Station in Coventry. Weather forecast - wet. What a surprise. Catch a cab to Warwick University.
1015: Arrive in Warwick. Collect keys to new campus residence. Begin 3rd and final year by skipping classes for the rest of the day.
See, personal life - nothing! However, if you are planning to stalk and kidnap me, I fear I may have made things rather easy.
